Terms and Conditions


Please allow approximately three weeks for delivery on all made-to-measure items. If you require your order by a specific date, please advise us when placing your order. If any delivery date cannot be met, we will let you know immediately. A revised delivery date will be advised on any orders relating to out of stock fabrics.

In the unlikely event of your order arriving with any damage to the packaging caused by the courier service mis-handling it, please ensure that you sign for it as a ‘damaged item’.


Sample Service

We are happy to supply five samples foc to any UK address. If more then five samples are required, they will incur a charge of 50p per sample which will be refunded to you on receipt of your order.

Samples sent to EU countries will incur a charge of £3.95 and the rest of the world, £5.95. Again, any sample charge will be refunded on receipt of your order.

We strongly advise ordering samples prior to placing any order to ensure you are happy with your choice of colour and design. Any orders placed without seeing a sample of the fabric will be the sole responsibility of you, the customer.

Please note shades may on occasion vary between samples and available stock.


Cancellation – Made to Order Items

Any cancellations requested after the fabric has been ordered from the manufacture, will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of the total order value. We are unable to accept cancellations once an item has proceeded to our workroom.


Cancellation – Fabric Orders

If a fabric order is cancelled after the item has been cut or ordered from our supplier, a re-stocking fee of 20% will apply.



In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations a full refund is available for ready-made items if we are notified within 7 days of receipt that an item is not required. In such cases the customer is responsible for arranging the return and covering the cost of post and packing. Please contact us by e-mail or telephone and we will provide address details. Please package the item carefully as refunds will be made following confirmation that the item has been received in good condition.

Whilst we make sure all orders are carefully packaged we do offer a full replacement for any goods damaged in transit. If fabric has been ordered incorrectly a 20% restocking fee will be charged, however, neither wallpaper or any made-to-measure items can be returned.

Please Note: We will not accept repsonsibility for any curtains damaged during dry cleaning where the recommended product has not been used by the agent. Any curtain with a lining must be dry cleaned only and our lining supplier recommends GreenEarth by Johnsons the Cleaners. Please ring 0870 730 7777 for your local specialist dry cleaner.


Fire Retardent Treatment

A fire retardent treatment is required on all fabrics to be used in schools, nurseries or public places. Please allow an additional 10 working days for delivery of items requiring this treatment.



All orders must be paid for in full at the time of ordering. We currently accept payment by bank transfer or sterling cheques made payable to ‘Kids Curtain Company Ltd’, alternatively you can purchase on-line using your credit card, debit card or PayPal using the secure Protx payment system. Payments made via the Protx system will be charged to your account when authorised.



We do not store any credit card details or other sensitive information at www.kidscurtaincompany.co.uk .
Personal data is only used to complete and deliver customer’s orders. No details are ever disclosed to a third party.

Orders under £10.00 in value can be dispatched via Royal Mail at a cost of £3.99. However, if this is your preferred option you will need to ‘phone us with your order as you cannot select this option online.  The company is unable to accept any responsibility for the delivery.


Overseas Orders

By placing an order, you are prepaying for the postage charges of your Consignment/s only. Kids Curtain Company has no control over any customs queries, delays or charges that may arise. Any customs charges that may apply must be paid in addition by the receiver before delivery is made. If you do not wish to pay the charges and the Consignment is returned, all return charges will also be passed on.



Please Note: If at any time any technical issue with our website affects our pricing structure, any orders placed during this time will be refunded and re-ordered.
